To make sure you get the most from a tool as powerful as SureSmile, we offer a complete set of educational and support services for you and your staff. Instruction is carefully designed to teach you how to apply SureSmile through the patient care cycle.
TRAINING
Introduction to SureSmile Philosophy
Training for you and your staff begins before your system is delivered. Our training consultants will visit your practice to deliver a one-day session that covers the following subjects:
  • Clinical protocol and therapy planning
  • Practice workflow for SureSmile
  • Patient scheduling
  • Educating patients about SureSmile
Introduction to SureSmile & OraScanner Certification
Two of your staff members will then be invited to the OraMetrix Clinical Research Center in Dallas for a two and a half day certification course covering the following subjects:
  • Intraoral scanning technique—hands-on practice performing scans
  • Workflow management and ordering SureSmile models
  • Capture and management of digital photos and x-rays
We will also provide two days of on-site support for your first SureSmile patients. We strongly recommend scheduling these visits for the week following the staff class. That way, if any questions come up, we’ll be here to guide you through them.

Treatment Planning with SureSmile
When the malocclusion models for your first patients are completed, you will take part in a two-day course at the OraMetrix Clinical Research Center in Dallas. This class focuses on the following subjects:
  • Working with 3-D virtual models and diagnosis
  • Treatment strategy and planning
  • Evaluating and modifying virtual setups
  • Planning targeted therapeutics
When your first patients are ready for their SureSmile wires, our staff will return to your practice for SureSmile archwire installation. During this visit, we will show you how to engage our unique wires to get your patients’ treatment on the most direct path to a straight smile.
ONGOING SUPPORT
Follow-up by Phone
Even after our training staff leaves, OraMetrix will still be supporting you with scheduled follow-up phone calls each week, to make sure that cases are progressing to your satisfaction.

SureSmile Customer Care
An experienced customer support team, dedicated specifically to your practice, will be on hand to answer all your questions and provide technical assistance for your SureSmile system through a toll-free line. Personnel are also available for on-site support as needed. OraMetrix is committed to providing the highest level of service and support to our valued customers.
