2) SureSmile® cannot and does not guarantee the functionality or performance of any CBCT devices not included on the list of approved devices for use with the SureSmile® system. Use of any CBCT scanner not on the approved list is at your sole risk. You are responsible for ensuring proper calibration and operation of any CBCT device used in conjunction with the SureSmile® system. By selecting the “CBCT premium option,” you warrant that your CBCT device meets the following minimum requirements. Submission of data from devices not meeting these requirements may result in rejection of the scan data, rejection of your order, and/or extended processing time of your order. SureSmile® cannot guarantee the effectiveness of any non-approved devices, or those that do not meet the criteria set forth above, and therefore does not assume any liability for use of any non-compliant CBCT devices. SureSmile® strongly recommends that you check the list of approved devices from time to time to ensure continued compliance with these requirements. In addition, SureSmile® reserves the right to reject scans from even approved scanners when the quality of the data provided does not meet SureSmile®’s minimum requirements.
